The personal data My Best Abu Dhabi handles, which providers are involved, its retention period and the rights the UAE data protection law gives you.
Who is responsible
My Best Abu Dhabi (mybestabudhabi.com) is run by its owner, who decides how the personal data described below is used, and any question about it can be sent to info@mybestabudhabi.com. That data is handled under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021.
What we collect and why
Visiting the site: IP address, browser details and the pages opened. We keep these only for security and so that pages load properly.
Emailing us: what you write and the address you write from, so that we can answer.
Business accounts: the login email, the edits made to a listing and, where a firm buys Pro or Top, its invoices. These let us run the listing and the plan.
There is no need to send Emirates ID numbers, passport copies or health details, and if they reach us we delete them.
No adverts and no tracking cookies
You will see no adverts on My Best Abu Dhabi. It does not run AdSense, and it places neither advertising nor analytics cookies. Cloudflare counts visits without placing anything on your device. A single technical cookie exists, and only for owners: it keeps them signed in while they edit their listing. Hence no cookie banner.
Providers that help us
Cloudflare provides the hosting, the protection against attacks, visit statistics without cookies, and our mailboxes. Its Turnstile tool tells people apart from bots when a form is sent. Stripe handles payment for business plans, and the card details stay with Stripe, out of our reach. Some of this work happens on servers in the United States, which means data can leave the UAE, always with the safeguards the law calls for.
How long we keep it
Visit data: a short time, for security. Emails: until the question is settled. Business accounts: for as long as the owner keeps them. Invoices: for the period tax and accounting rules set.
Your rights
You are entitled to know what personal data of yours we hold, to receive a copy, to have mistakes fixed or the data erased, to limit or halt its use and to take it elsewhere in a portable file. Requests go to info@mybestabudhabi.com. Should our answer leave you unhappy, complaints can be lodged with the UAE Data Office.
Children
My Best Abu Dhabi is meant for adults and does not knowingly gather data about children.

Any change in how we use personal data will appear on this page, and the text shown here at any moment is the current policy.
